Dawn, Secret Water is really Hamford water, on the east coast between Harwich and Walton on the Naze. Unlike in the Lakes books, AR's geography for the books set in this part of England is undistorted, so a good map, chart, or plan of Hamford Water will show you the details as the book describes them (using their Native names, of course.)
