How many real place names are mentioned in the books?
There's one that creates slight problems; in WD, as they return from Holland, the first sign they see of England is 'The radio masts at Bawdsey', which had one of the first sets of Chain Home radar aerials- the purpose of these was of course quite secret. They were erected in 1936, which puts WD as later than that, but the carefully worked out chronology sets it in 1932/3. AR did a recce sail to Holland in... was it 'Nancy Blackett? WD was written in 1936/7, so he was right about the Bawdsey Manor masts then but it mucks up the stories' chronology a bit.
