John - you are pulling my chain - there is one, up high, on the WC, isn't there?

"WATER IN THE BATHROOM" - That statment in PM is not really a sentence. As such, it has ambiguous meanings, such as:

There is supposed to be a pitcher of water on the commode (it is something like a marble top table with wash basin and pitcher in it) and Nancy is saying we must be sure that pitcher is filled.

OR...

We have cut roses to put into a vase, and we need to be sure those roses have water in their vase. The bathroom is a source of water, so you can go there and get some to put into the vase.

This last meaning implies there is some plumbing in that bathroom that carries the water from somewhere outside into the bathroom. The first meaning implies there is a pump somewhere, like in the kitchen, and the pitcher, once filled at that pump, needs to be put into the bathroom where it can be used.

Thus the ambiguity, and the open question, is there plumbing in the bathroom in Beckfoot?

Thanks, John, it was about that time to bring this up again. Now, we can sit back and see what hits the fan.

Was that a groan?
