Well the Big Five might have been involved in drugs, but I doubt they would have struck AR. Having grown up with a Father, who treated drug addicts, both in hospital and from a surgery, that was at times in our house, I can say from personal observation there is no such thing as a typical addict. I saw all shapes and sizes and types, but AR does not strike me as needing drugs except tobacco. Of course there is a school of thought that says that is the worst, it certainly killed my grandfather and mother, so I look less than kindly upon it.

The real problem is that the addiction issue is a health issue, which should be handled properly by the CDC and equivalents and not by the law, which is a blunt weapon. Will in humans in 300 years look upon the drug wars as akin to Salem witch hunts?
