I was glancing through the headpieces in SD and admiring the careful drawing (of Holly Howe, for example) when I noticed that the drawing of Beckfoot (1937) has two wings! They appeared not to be symmetrical and very like Town Head. The map in WH (1933) is not very clear, the map in PP (1936) shows the stable block peeping round the LH wall but by 1943 Beckfoot has 'lost' the LH wing.
