If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

And I am still using WINDOWS XP because I am used to it and know how to get along with it, enough to get on the Internet.

I retired from IBM Personal Computer Systems Programming when they shifted from DOS to WINDOWS. I was the GURU of DOS at that time, but suddenly felt I was the Village Idiot trying to use Windows whose internals were completely unknown to me.

So even today, when I want to PLAY with programming, I boot my old DOS machine that works just fine, where I know what is going on and can understand it and control it to do what I want, when I want it.

The WINDOWS XP is so I can get on the internet and check in with you guys.

If TarBoard changes too much, it just might leave me in the dust.

So much for the "latest and the greatest" - the "new and improved". Oh, whoopie...
