Getting AR books (hardback) (& typos)

The AR home page lists the Red Fox paperback, but not the hardbacks...o
Jonathan Cape publish all the S&A books in cloth (hardback), very similar
to the originals, with maps in the endpapers and even the dustjackets are
very very close. I think they are all in print - certainly all I have
tried for are. Cost 11-13 pounds each, great books and they'll last for ever. I am
reading them with my six year old son ....

Only snag is that when some were re typeset (the old type was getting
blurry), some typos have crept in - they haven't been as well proof
read as AR would have done. e.g. in "Big Six" we have the "faint creek
of the D & G's wraps"!

I'm collecting the typos to feedback to Cape, so if you spot any
(in editions from 1982 on) send them to me at w&d.dashfield@xtra.co.nz.

Also at JC - Old Peter's Russian Tales, War of the Birds and the Beasts
and other Russian Tales, Coots in the North.

Any good bookshop can look them up on CD-ROM and order for you.
Or if in a hurry, order on the web from http://www.bookpages.co.uk;
but be aware of the airmail costs (6 pounds to New Zealand - shiver
my timbers!)
