Sorry, I just have to come back on this. That statement is, of course, correct, but we know this because e.g. Isaac Newton discovered what white light consisted of by using two glass prisms and working things out logically. I seem to recall that Peter dismissed logic as 'bonkers' recently.
That is why my favourite character is Dick. While everybody was jumping around celebrating Titty's dowsing, Dick was not convinced that it was 'magic' and was trying to work out why the twig had moved. Dick knew that the Universe, all of it, obeys the rules of logic and if the twig moved, something must have made it move and that force operated under the laws of science.
