In PP Titty & Roger wouldn't have been home - Mrs. Walker and Bridget weren't there because Bridgie had whooping cough and the others were being sent up to keep them away, IIRC. I'd think it more likely the Walkers, like most service families, moved around depending on where Commander Walker was stationed. See also Missee Lee when Shining Moon anchored in St. Mawes, and Susan's comment about sailing out of Falmouth with Daddy (don't remember the book offhand). Certainly in WD and SW they were settling in near Ipswich as Commander/Captain (see archives) Walker accepted his new assignment there.
