Thanks for posting that Jock, like you I spent a lot of my childhood (sometimes alone) roaming around - true, I was brought up in the country and you did sometimes see people (tramps too). I don't know which is worse, that other adults complained or that the police took notice (they're lucky to have any police around to take notice!)
