Totally agree, Adam and add the nearby Helford river which includes Frenchmans Creek and some drying mud that may resemble Secret Water (Part of my Honeymoon was a cruise in a Wayfarer in this area).
Id like to add the Small Isles (Eigg Rhum Canna and Soay) but warn that this is a sea trip, much more exposed than the comfy Broads!!
A marine engine needs to handle salt water which is very corrosive, this may account for the need to "marinate".
