I had a look at the page in the visitor's book. AR was 20 at the time. I do not have any copy of his handwriting before the 1920s, but I can say that it is entirely different.
The capitals A, T, are in a different style. The capital S is similar. The descenders g. y are different. I couldn't find q to compare.
Does AR show his immaturity by having a hand at the age of 20 that had some way to develop before reaching the hand we recognise as his.
