Peter, we can still say "Christmas" also. But in deference to the increasing realization that
this particular holiday season is a holiday for other religions many (at least on this side of the pond)
have taken to being nonspecific. The expression is not meant (by me at least) to be exclusionary
and if I listed them I'm sure I would leave something out!
