For me, as an old misery, the innocence and imagination of childhood, (that in a 40 year teaching career I saw diminishing) is not compatible with spying. i suppose that is why they wanted to have in in the 1930s with the rise of Hitler's Germany. Children outwitting adults, sounds terribly Malcolm Saville.
It is wrong to pre-judge, but the signs do not seem promising. Thank goodness for 1974!
