I prefer printed books every time and I'm always reminded of Anthony Powell's book in the Dance To The Music Of Time series - Books Do Furnish A Room.
Actually that's a relevant case. I have the 12-book Powell series and probably read it more often than any other, different parts of different books, as the mood takes me. Also, prompted by Powell's love of Proust, most evident in "The Military Philosophers", I bought "A la Recherche du Temps Perdu". In Kindle. I have the whole boiling in paperback- the ones I described as shedding pages through continuous use- as well as Kindle, except for the Proust which would simply have been over the top.
Of course the title of "Books do Furnish a Room" needed some explanation, was said to be spoken by Bagshaw as he approached a lady naked on a sofa. Not quite the way of an AR book title...
