It is possible that some of the problems being experienced by those people using Windows 95 are related to a software bug within WIN95, acknowledged by Microsoft. Information on the issues involved and the
Microsoft recommended update can be found, along with lots of other Microft updates, at their website address http://www.microsoft.com/windows95/downloads
Find the section entitled "Recommended Updates" and click on "Windows 95 Year 2000 update". This will take you into a page giving some explanation, with further details available if desired. The download is available by pressing the "button" at the bottom of the page.
