It is true that The Internet Bookshop (now owned by W H Smugg's)
has the largest collection of UK-interest books, and they respond
very politely to enquiries etc.
However you should also consult amazon.com and/or their - uk division.
I'm afraid that - even allowing for postage - prices are sometimes 1/3
less than IBS .. e.g. the Star Trek Encyclopedia cost me 1/3 less
from Amazon than the IBS price.
Be aware that some books come in American and UK editions,
notably the Harry Potter books whuch the US have 'bowdlerized'
(and changed title, e.g. the Philosopher's stone becomes
the Sorcerer's stone) - see long review thread on Amazon...
Since Amazon provides facilties for critical reviews,
I would have to support them anyway over IBS...
It is another case of the US doing it bigger and better...
