Hilary, I'm all for 'Fan Fiction', as at least it gets the creative process going. Copyright shouldn't be a problem - it only really becomes a factor if you decide to publish (i.e. distribute and sell) your work. Fan fiction posted on the TARS website ought to be covered by the TARS permission, and I doubt if the Literary Executors would object. If they haven't objected to 'feeling Dickish' etc, then they'll never object to anything!
