First get permission for your sequel.
Then set yourself a laughable target of 250 words of polished copy pdaily. The rest of the day's yours to idle around or go sailing.
Allow yourself six weeks holiday for the year, leaving you with 320 'writing days'. Always stop dead on the 250th word — even in mid-sentence — and you'll be raring to continue next day, by which time your subconscious will have planned out the content for the next 250 words.
Twelve months later you'll have a cracking 80,000 book to whizz off to your choice of publisher.
