Curiously enough, the engaging Hugh Fearnley-W[h?]ittingstall (the only
TV chef I watch among the seemingly hundreds we currently have in
Britain) could be seen last night (Sunday 6 Feb) as the quarry in a hunt
in Dorset, in his Channel 4 series "Return to River Cottage".
Bad weather at a crucial stage in the summer had left him without hay
to feed his stock over the winter, and playing the part of the fox was
one of the activities he engaged in to earn some hay.
