Thanks Peter, I had written to Christina Hardiment on a previous occasion but never received a reply. I understood the original idea for TARS came from Abbot Hall Gallery and like the Beatrix Potter Society was mainly set up by them. This may be wrong but that is what I have been told. The info on the supposed blocking of information by AR's executors came from Abbot Hall. It was also suggested
that either Roger Wardale or Clair Kendall-Price may have been given intentionally duff info by the Abbot Hall staff due to a mix-up in who they were supposed to be working with over the first book about AR. Apparently the staff were upset at, as they thought, being messed around.
