While searching for Margaret's Not the Burghers of Calais I came across Kipling's The Fringes of the Fleet, which appears to be a micky-taking East Anglian version of Spanish Ladies. It begins with; Farewell and adieu to you, Harwich Ladies, and goes on in similar style. I'm surprised AR never thought of using it for WDMTGTS or SW.
