Dear Arthur Ransome lovers,
I'm trying to complete - after 20 years of collecting - my set of A.R.'s children series.
I'm still short of 'Swallowdale', and 'Coot Club, as 1st editions,
with their original jackets.
The rest I have - all 1sts with jackets - but those two have eluded me.
Not so unlikely since I'm collecting from Australia!
I'm willing to pay generous market prices to complete my set - which -
having had my Scottish childhood enriched by those magic stories -
I began collecting after I had I received a letter from Mr. Ransome
two years before he died..
I'd be obliged to hear from any member willing to part with their
treasured copy!
