Noted, Simon. I would have been still more pleased had you put the first "r" in Windermere (there's a Windermere Lake in Northern Ontario, too, between Wawa and Chapleau). There is also an "Atlin Lake" in BC, though "Atlin" is an aboriginal word meaning "Big Lake" -- so "Big Lake Lake". Incidentally, there's a "Windermere Avenue" here in Thunder Bay, which on most (but not all) of its street signs is spelled "Windemere".
