True, only to power boats. However there are few of us who can row at 10mph in the normal war canoe hired out at Rio, and I doubt that Swallow (or Amazon) touched much more than 6!!
However, I have had very close encounters with speedboats doing at least 20. The other thing for me is the reduced noise levels!
