On my AR page
I have started to build up a small collection of texts about AR taken
from TARS publications and elsewhere. Getting permissions & copyright
clearances is taking rather a long time, but I have the first two
texts now available: Kirsty Cochrane on "Motive and Motif in Swallows
and Amazons and Pigeon Post", and Nicholas Tucker on
"Arthur Ransome as a Children's Writer" - both from the 2nd Literary
weekend in 1993. Pieces by Taqui Altounyan and Martin Kettle will soon
join them, I hope.
I'd be grateful for suggestions from other Tarboarders as to suitable
additions. There's a particularly strong case for inclusion
where the original publication is out of print and unlikely to be
re-printed.
