36 yr. old explorer escaping native husband and children for a couple of weeks this summer--heading to the Vancouver Folk Music Festival July 14-16 and then on to the Queen Charlotte Islands (on the west coast of Canada near the southern tip of Alaska). I'm taking an organized eco-tour of the southern islands (kayaking with a sailboat "mothership" to use as a base) from July 21-26, and am thinking of going up to the islands early to explore other areas by rented car. It might be fun to have a (non-smoking) female co-adventurer along for some or all of the trip to share expenses. FYI, it's not a particularly cheap place to travel. I’ve gone to the VFMF many times and it’s always great, but I've been wanting to do this trip for about 15 years! Let me know if you'd like more info. Karabadangbaraka!
