The original map for SA was by Steven Spurrier. This is the one used on the cover for the Amazon Press The Swallows and The Amazons. The map currently used in SA is a composite done (in the 70s?) by another artist after AR. She received credit in only a few editions, IIRC. This explains several "anticipated" features in it.
