Not by that name, but I believe it's the town where Young Billy heard rumors of the planned burglary in SA, and where the steamer ran to throughout the books. It may also have been involved in the Hound Trail in SD, and I don't remember if Dick and Dot considered sailing down there in their search for a cookery book in PM, before going to the head of the lake. I vaguely remember a village being mentioned in passing there, and possibly in WH.
In addition, SA is the only story actually fully set on the Lake, with primary reliance on sailing. In all the other Lake books, the bulk of the activity is on land which would tend to restrict the radius of action.
