Doing the TARSUS 'administrative chores' - that is, mailing out all the various journals and newsletters to the US members - will be a great excuse for a quarterly get-together like the one last night.
Jon Barrett supplied squashed fly biscuits. There was plenty of good food and good drink. We were all amazed that our host had many of the same books on his shelves that we have on ours (or would if our bookcases were not taken down and books packed in boxes while painters and plasterers are doing their thing).
The above post was made after Dave T. took some members on a guided tour of the website -- we tend to forget that not all our members are TarBoard regulars.
If there are any Ransome fans out there reading this who have not joined and are in the mid-Atlantic area of the US (for you UK folks, that means the coastal area roughly from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, etc., down to Virginia)please do join us! It looks like some informal events may be getting off the ground.
