Having now scanned through all the tarsboard, I've found the names of the BBC 60's S & A's. Thanks to Peter Roche, March '00. No info on further careers though! I'm amazed at the detail to which these books are studied - does this impinge or enhance the enjoyment of the books. My set of well thumbed hardbacks date from the 40's & 50's and were handed down by an older cousin who had collected them avidly, as they became available and coicided with pocket money funds or birthdays. I've not read them for about twenty years, but my daughter was very keen to read them when small. (Most closly resembles Dorothea!). I must get them down from the loft....!
