The BBC serialisation (6 x 25-minute parts) was screened at the National Film Theatre recently, so it must be available somehow.Unlike the film, which was a well-executed period piece, it was set in the 60s, whicch makes it a bit of a period piece itself now (watch for Mother's A-line coat). Naturally they all wear life-jackets (most of the time)That said, it works quite well, even if the two boats do have to have large labels stuck to their bows saying SWALLLOW and AMAZON to distinguish them. And They keep in the thunderstorm.
