I know we've had previous discussion in this group about the
lack of mention of bathrooms anywhere in the series. Not that
this is unique, as most childrens books share that omission.
But I'm just reading parts of Peter Duck again, and I'm wondering
where would they place the W.C. in the boat. I've looked at the
boat plans many times, and he doesn't leave that much unused space.
In those days was the W.C. just a bucket which was emptied over the
side regularly?
