Ohhh, Dave W and Jon...I'd love a GPS, and my birthday is 1st October! No, the moon and stars are all I need to navigate. One thing...I've been making mysterious midnight trips along the Bridgewater Canal and discovered I don't need a forward light (just little port & starboards). I just follow the moon glistening in the water ahead.

And lemme explain about them pesky rocks: I'm used to wildcatting in a canoe, which skims over the top of the dreaded sunken Atlantis. That's why I went steaming in with motor-boat and got stuck. Overconfidence is deadly! Was a good job the Swallows, Amazons and Cannons (Brian Tack & Co) were there for moral support. By the way, did you all know that ATLANTIS WELCOMES CAREFUL DIVERS

And, dear Commodore, your namesake wrote the biog of Canadian writer Saul Bellow, who recently fathered a nipper at 84. So there's hope for us all yet on Tarboard.

Blue Skies!

Any of you got home pages for me to look up? The only Tarboarders I've seen are matinee idols Mike Field and Brian Tack.
