Dave is quite right. It's the author's job to make sure that she or he has all copyright clearances in hand before publication, and standard publishing contracts make the author liable for any infringements. I assume you're a member of TARS? Look in any issue of _Mixed Moss_ for a box headed "Copyright, Publishing & TARPAULIN" and you'll find a note that the TARS Literary Committee assists those wishing to publish AR-related material, who should write to the Committee via the co-chairman, Roger Wardale (4 Trinity Way, West Meads, Bognor Regis PO21 5RQ). I assume that this is how Ransome's Literary Executors want to handle requests, rather than putting out their own addresses etc.
