As far as I am aware the only person who has suggested Tent Lodge as Beckfoot was Pauline Marshall in support of her claim to be Peggy Blackett. If anybody else has done so as well then I would be interested to know who and especially why? I know from the lake it does seem to have the right look and Gordon Hall has mentioned it as such on the Coniston Ferry S&A Cruises. I agree with much of what has been put forward about certain aspects of Beckfoot but that I have doubts about.
