Will be in the Lake District, staying in Near Sawrey, Ambleside, the secodn week in May. Is it possible to see charcoal burners and their wigwams, as in Swallows and Amazons. I realize the adder might be to much to hope for....

Ps. I work at the Denver Public Library. I have read all of the S & W series to my two sons. When I mentioned Arthur Ransome to a co-worker she replied, "I am Titty you know." She had enjoyed the works when they first were written.
