Yes I was looking at a copy in a local branch public library (Wellington, New Zealand) which seems to be "first published 1943" ie a first edition?? Remarkable for a library copy! The central library copies with the correct "Ruth" not "Nancy" are 1964 & 1967 ie 12th,13th impressions!
