In SD Titty says when with Roger she looks beyond the moorland “We must have one of them for Kanchenjunga .... the biggest.” (Ch 4, page 62).
Later at Swallowdale Titty says “That one with the peak at one end is Kanchenjunga .... and then we can explore the sources of the Amazon and climb Kanchenjunga at the same time ...” John says “Kanchenjunga’s a gorgeous name, anyhow” (Ch 12 page 159).
