No, Bob Blackett did not die in the Great War, in fact he volunteered to fight with the White Russians as a sort of liason officer for the chief of the Imperial general staff.... surprisingly enough his controller is Jim Turner: you never believed that he was merely jaunting around the world looking for gold did you? and the burglars at the break in weren't acting on their own initiative either....

Bob Blackett is in deep cover in Soviet Russia, he needs to be rescued and there is only one way for him to escape... just a clue, it involves a sailing dinghy in the Baltic and a very recent graduate second lieutenant from Exmouth naval college......
