This is just a periodic thank you to you, Ian, for providing the space and
administration for Tarboard. It is such a nice break in the day to come
here and see what other Ransome fans are up to, to learn new things, and to
read great reports on events like the one in Georgia USA below.
It was here that I learned about Lakeland Camera, and now I look at it
almost everyday, and often see places in Ransome country. (There is a
great picture of Bank Ground Farm on today - if you hurry you may catch it)!
I have only been able to come to Britain one time, so until I can stand again
alone on the rocks of Peel Island, I thank you for making it possible for me
to read about and to get occasional glimpses of that country that we all
share in our hearts.
