The scout style semaphore font at
http://www.22ndfarnworth.freeserve.co.uk/signal/index.html is OK but
not very Ransomish. I've made one based on the page from Dick's pocket
book in Winter Holiday which you might care to try:
http://members.xoom.com/dakin80/tars/semaphore.ttf

It's been somewhat thrown together but I can tidy it up a bit if people
think it's worth the effort.

I've noticed in the scout semaphore font that FIGS is attached to the
# (hash) key which I've followed in my font. However there's also a
symbol that doesn't appear in the WH drawing attached to the *
(asterisk) key with (its) right arm at 45 degrees up from the
horizontal and left arm down 45 degrees from the horizontal.
Does anyone know what that means? I've also duplicated the symbols
for a to z inclusive in their uppercase symbols so you can use the
font to represent text that has both upper and lower case characters.
