But there _is_ something there, all the same. Some sort of cultural clash that occurs on the Internet. I've been involved myself, but I've also seen it a lot as a silent bystander.
I don't read too much into it - far greater conflict arises between other groups and in other circumstances. It's the fact that we all come from the same roots when it comes to the language we speak that makes it stand out.
There's a lot of common ground, as can be seen from the common interests on this board. So will you please explain Americans to the rest of us..?
