Not knowing any versions of Casabianca (or Casablanca) I looked up the author Mrs F. D. Hemans (1793-1835) and found that her forenames were Felicia Dorothea. Gee, another Dorothea.

Popular for her liberalism and piety, she wrote to support her five sons after her Army Captain husband left her. Wrote “The Stately Homes of England” as not sung by Noël Coward.
