I'm sailing Patience, my wooden gaff Vertue to Holland at the end of the month. I most often enter Holland at Stellandam but this year I'm joining some friends in a cruise in company to Vlissingen (Flushing). I'm going solo, no Dutch pilot, but I'll be locking into the Middleburg canal when I reach Flushing so that makes at least half of an authentic Goblin/Nancy trip.
The crossing will take around 24 hours (but you know that) and now I'm getting old and feeble like Jim's Uncle Bob I wondered if anyone would care to come over with me? No experiance needed, and no charge, but you do need to tolerate a snore louder than Peter Ducks,and as I'm staying in Holland for a month or so, get youself back to England.
Anyone interested?
