regarding The Dog's Home. We visited at the end of July and the door was definately not fastened with a 'bow'. A knot sort of thing that hooked over a piece of metal. But all the same, it didn't detract from a wonderful experience.

I was impressed, when comparing the drawing AR did of inside the dogs home, when Dot and Dick were settling in, to the real thing, that he was so accurate with his prespective and the height and size of the children in relation to the shelf over the fireplace. He must have loved that place very much to have remembered it so well, especially as things shrink in size as we get older. Or, as my son had just suggested, he drew it while he was up there, which is a lovely thought I think.
