I *think* the Britspeak for what merkins call corn is maize. Grits is the
food of the gods! Plop a couple of fried eggs on top of some grits and
you have a heavenly breakfast. (this I'm telling to a people that eat
*shudder* FISH for breakfast) One thing to be steadfastly avoided is the
abomination known as instant grits. It tastes like weak dishwater. That
is probably what has happened to folks like Bob Hollis.I'm sure that having once tried
this nasty substance, he has vowed never to let it pass his lips again.
Too bad for him, all the more for us!
