The Treaty port of Swatow where the Wild Cat was headed for (and where Captain Flint has an old friend) is now Shantou, 170 miles NW of Hong Kong and opposite Taiwan. They had been across the Pacific via Papeete, was the "hundredth port" that they had just left in the Phillipines?
