The pike that once adorned the wall over the bar in The Swan at Horning was donated to the Society via me during the 1997 Horning AGM. Following extensive repairs I donated it to the Museum of the Boards when they were in Potter Heigham, but now in Stalham. I think you're right about the pub at Thurne Dyke, I got mixed up with The Red Lion at Lowick. The Lion might be surrounded on all sides now by modern houses but in 1934?
