The TARS Press Officer had his name mentioned on Radio 4 Test Match Special this afternoon. Henry Blofeld read out a limerick e-mailed in by Iain Hicks-Mudd. The limerick was about someone who bit his tongue while eating spaghetti (Blofeld has just done this). I rather agree with Bill Frindall, the scorer, who said that it needed 'a bit more work'. It was not mentioned (perhaps mercifully) that Iain is our PO.
I won't inflict the poem on readers. It was somewhat off-topic, and might also offend against Dave W's 'spirit of the website', whatever that is.
